Mango milkshake is cool and tempting fruit drink prepared by it simply blending ripe mango slices, sugar and milk. It’s a simple and easy recipe explains how to make mango milkshake.

The combination of sweet mangoes and milk is one of the can we consume without side effects as per ayurveda. According to research the mango should be sweet and not semi sweet or sour or tangy.

There are different ways to make mango milkshake:

Basic ingredients to make mango milkshake are blending chopped rice and sweet mangoes with milk.

Ingredients:

1: 2 alphonsa mangoes or as per your choice -medium sized sweet mangoes

2 : 1.5 cups milk or ¾ cup milk + ¾cup water – chilled or at room temperature

3 : 2 to ⅔ cubes – as per ur choice (options)

4 : 2 tablespoons sugar or jaggery or honey (optional)

Instructions:

1 Rinse & pat dry 2 medium sized mangoes.
Peel and chup them and add them in blender jar.

2 Add 1.5 or 2 cup milk (optional)

3 Also, add 2 to 3 ice cubes.

4 Blend till smooth.

5 Pour in glasses.

6 Serve mango Shake immediately.

Additional ingredients for mango milkshake are –

1.Cream : when you add some whipping cream to any shake you get a thick & creamy consistency. In this recipe, you can Add about ¼ cup heavy cream. whipped cream can also be topped over the milkshake while serving.

 

2. Whole milk : whole milk or full-fat milk gives a rich tasting shake. That said, even-toned milk or skimmed milk can be added.

 

3. Nut milk : sometimes I also make mango shake with almond or coconut milk. I have earlier shared a Vegan mango milkshake recipe. you can easily make a vegan mango shake by using cashew milk, almond milk, soy milk or coconut milk.

 

4. Ice cream : while blending, adding a vanilla ice cream or mango ice cream will definitely make mango shake thick, creamy and rich. Add 1 to 2 scoops of ice cream.

 

5. Ice cubes : to thin the milkshake considerably, add 6 to 7 ice cubes. You can even add less number of ice cubes. I always add 2 to 3 ice cubes while blending so that the milkshake is chilled when I serve it.
